JUNIOR BACH FESTIVAL

 

The registration for all 2008 SCJBF Branch Festivals will be conducted through the new online registration system.  This system is now up and running.  Since it is a new and unfamiliar system, the participating teachers should try out the system as soon as possible. 

1.  Date/Place:  April 6, 2008, Sunday, at SCV Senior Center

2.  Fee:   $30 per contestant (send one check for all your participating students)

The results from the Regional Southern California Junior Bach Festival :


83 contestants from 4 branches (Conejo Valley, Pleasant Valley, Santa Barbara, Santa Clarita Valley) competed at the regional Bach Festival on May 3, 2008 at the First United  Methodist church in Ventura.  As a result, 34 students were chosen to be featured at the Showcase Recital on May 17th in Santa Barbara.  10 students from our branch entered and 3 winners were produced.
